Zazie
Some nights you'll come here and have to speak French, sacre bleu! The brunch
here is great, but so is the dinner. Prix-fixe, like at our other favorite
French restuarants (Le Charm and Metro Cafe) is very reasonable. There's good
seafood soup here, too.

Cole Valley Cafe
Our friend Matt introduced us to the Cole Valley Cafe. It's sunny and filled
with folks reading newspapers (one regular cuts out all photographs with people
using tobacco products, but otherwise leaves the news he touches unmolested).
Very good desserts and good croque monsieurs and soups.
